An eerily lifelike wax statue of actor Ashley Olsen tied the knot with 33-year-old human Louis Eisner. The ceremony was held at Madame Tussauds wax museum in Hollywood, California. Only fifty people attended the event though there were twenty or so wax friends of Olsen's also there.
Hollywood Weddings And Their Issues
Getting married can be difficult and blockbuster actors and moguls have to decide whether or not to embrace the press or opt for something more low-key. There's no doubt that the bride could spend millions that she earned from her years on the hit show Full House as well as the fashion company she owns with her sister Mary-Kate Olsen, The Row. And while many of the other wax manikins pressured her to go big, she and her Louis took the marital plunge with little fanfare.
One supportive voice from Madame Tussauds was waxwork rapper Tupac Shakur, "Reality is wrong. Dreams are for real."
The Challenges Of Mixed Marriages
Human being husband Louis Eisner is an artist and while he is a successful artist he just doesn't have the money and clout his new wife does. Mixed-income marriages can be difficult. Marriage counselors specializing in treating relationships where one spouse has incredible amounts of cash and the other doesn't say communication is key.
"Couples need to tell each other how they are feeling," said marriage counselor to the stars Andrew Canard LICSW. "What is a throwaway expense for one could mean a significant cost for the other."
The Future For Olsen And Eisner -- Children?
Even though they've been together romantically for years and know each other quite well, the couple is not talking about having children just yet. However, anonymous friends and family report that they do expect them to have a household of rambunctious little waxlings at some point soon.
The only thing we know for sure is that any children from the happy union will not have wax candles on their birthday cakes.
